Daiare by Kechake Daiare by Kechake
Daiare is the goddess of magic and also one of the most important deities in Flodhavne. She is often associated with lone dead drees, white hawks, rune and arcane rings and the full moon. She is usually pictured pale and always wearing black and that is also the tradition within the magicians.

Nice work!
This work reminds me of a work of
'Alfonse Musha,' especially the circle behind her.

Face is overdone, heavily. It looks like melting plastic. I do however like the choice of color, a nice exchange from all the "gothic" dark colors. I'd also suggest for you to do a photomanip with a male subject once a while or pick something with a non-gothic theme. Just to bring some variety into your portfolio. Otherwise you'll be stuck with this kind of style forever. I, for example, have drawn men for so long that I can't draw women or ANYTHING else for that matter. :S
Other than that, fine job as usual.

[link] , [link] , [link] , [link] . More gothic, but still male. There are still 2 more males to do, January and April.

[link] , [link] , [link] , [link] , [link] etc... I have shitloads non-gothic images and I'm more into fantasy art, the latest gothic stuff is just for fun and my poor nerves.

[link] And this one. :lmao:
My portfolio (the one with printed images) has a great variety and I got a photomanipulation-related job this summer. There were over 500 candidates and 10 were picked out.
And also, people like different things. The person who interviewed me, liked more the original images (cat and rabbit heads etc), but the "big boss" prefered more gothic works.

About the picture. Thanks. And strange, people who have seen this tend to like the face. [link] Here's the original. :P

If it goes about comments like this one above. :)

Be cerfull with others sugestions. Fill your work, open your mind, consider others point of view, but what to do it's only your choice. There's no formula on art, you'll find it only within you. R

I know. Thank you. =) I'm still doing what I like, but even my mind likes variety. I'm not doing males and fantasy images because "I have to". :giggle:
