As you fade away in your nothingness...

If I had a dream graveyard, this would be it. I have never wanted green grass, whispering pine trees and itchy dirt, but an eternal eventide, calmingly cold waves that bring seashells to the shore.

Only a place for us.

Another landscape try, had problems with the reflections and I had wanted to the row of graves to continue, but I found out that I had done one thing wrong and I was too lazy to cut more tombstones out. So... only four. Like a family grave.

I figured you were from Estonia as soon as I saw lardacil's comment. :) It looks pretty much like Finnish.

I love this work. I noticed that you could see through the cross and although it's a little bit unrealistic it still makes the picture even more beautiful. As I said, I love it.

I've known Iardacil for a while, we both attend LARP events so we didn't meet in deviantArt =) Well yes... Estonian is similar to Finnish :D

Thanks a lot for pointing out. I'll probably repair the bad transparency. :D But if you like it... I may consider leaving it as is ^^

Thank you

Yeah, it sure is similar. But I've also noticed that some words is pretty different, maybe there have been influences from other languages too? I'm not that good in Finnish (I'm Swedish-speaking) but I can understand some Estonian thanks to learning Finnish.

It looks very good, but I guess it depends on how you want the picture to look. If you want the graves to be "all there" or not. I really liked it though. ^^

The languages are relatives, so I can pretty much understand Finnish, I only wish I had concentrated on Moomin more when I was a child.

There are no more similar "big" languages to Finnish and Estonian. There are some that are dying out (about 20 speakers or so), but in some years they'll be dead anyway, sadly.

Thank you very much ^^
