Artist's Comments it looks so surreal! It has shitloads of meanings behind it and I will explain it. It's a contest entry for *FrozenStarRo's and *flordelys's contest "Visual Sentiments". I tried to come up with something more original than crying and running damsels, ne?  *just amused*Also, I'd dedicate this rabbitwoman to ~Lemmy-X who has been an ultimate supporter and a great friend.  Now, to the meanings stuff. --- This picture is like a fairy tale illustration. I believe that there has always been something imperscrutable, mystic and dark about rabbits and clocks (yes, Alice!), also, add the dolls (Rozen Maiden) and violins. Especially blue violins. Oh, I wish I had one that was blue. *drools* If you can see, then there is a riddle in the picture. One clock is contrariwise, symbolizing the end of everything and at the same time the beginning of everything, being an ultimate symbol of emptyness, lies and magic. The other clock symbolizes normal lifetime, we all have a tiny-tiny clock inside us that does the same. And the third clock... it says cuckoo. --- Lady Rabbit was about to play a melody on her violin, when the Doll stopped her. "You shall not," it said. "Why not, the Lady of Quiet Nights?" "For Time," the Doll reminded, "it is too late to play a blue violin." --- My emotion related to the picture would be called mystical. That is exactly how I feel right now. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. that's so surreal.
somehow it reminds me of a movie by David Lynch.
Does the rabbit have scratches on the face??
(or is that lines from the brick wall behind??)
I'm not sure if you put it on purpose.
But that makes the character more mistic and scary because she looks like a rabbit doll that are abandoned in the street by her owner but came back from the hell to revenge on her.
The same for the other human doll behind.
Don't throw dolls!
They have souls!
