Expressing my love for violins - this instrument has always had and will forever have a special place in my heart; and the sadness that I can probably never afford one.

Found a beautiful poem in Spanish written under it:

voy a quedarme en tu piel
hasta que florezca el otoño.

me amoldaré a tu costado
como un arco de violín acongojado,
vibraremos cada cuerda muy despacio,
destruiremos esta amnesia
de recuerdos con sabor a sal.

voy a colarme entre tus sueños
como un cascabel que se agita
haciendo ruido en tu memoria,
deshojaremos los silencios,
alinearé cada verso
ante el altar florido de tu boca.

voy a cerrar los ojos contigo
hasta que el tiempo desista
y se marche hacia otro lado,

me quedaré junto a ti
mirándote en silencio,
y sentiré que la vida
es un instante de soles mojados,

un amasijo de nubes
corriendo desnudas por mi cuarto,

un segundo en tu aurora

An indeed beautiful picture...But what I don't understand - is there no way you could rent a violin? My instrument is a rental until I can afford it...

it was a long time ago. in my city you can't rent a violin unless you're studying in the same musical school and studying is expensive. but i bought my own violin a few years ago and now i'm slowly learning it, probably getting more serious while in the university. =)

you play violin too? omg that's so cool! i hope you become huge!
